In the dark ages of 2005 there was no Scuurvy. Pirates of Brisbane had no suitable shanties to sail by, nor to loot, pillage, rape or plunder! It was a bleak time for all. A group of five mighty pirates took heed, and set about rectifying the situation.

Wielding axes of fire and steel: Guitarists Scabby Arse Pete and Barnaby D. McMansword.
Swinging the subsonic blade of peril: bassist Cutthroat Molloy.
Firing earth shattering cannons: Drummer Long Johnson.
And Commanding with a voice to strike fear into the heart of davy jones himself: Captain Blacktooth Barnsley.

This mighty crew prepared themselves for war, raised the jolly roger and set sail upon the open sea, engaging in many battles against ferocious enemies.

During a particularly epic raid Scuurvy captured a man who posessed the ability to record sound to a compact circular shaped piece of plastic. This pleased Scuurvy and the resulting product was released in 2007.

On the many voyages to distant shores Scuurvy has also forged many alliances and accords with bands such as LORD, People die, Drop dead ugly, Headkase and many more. For Scuurvy, the future holds more alliances, more treasure, and as always more epic battles.
